WeBop Around the Country
Since 2015, Jazz at Lincoln Center has offered both arts organizations and elementary and music schools around the country the opportunity to become licensed partners to provide WeBop classes in their communities.
Organizations offering music education programming may apply for a license to add WeBop to their class listing. WeBop introduces children ages 8-months to 5-years and their caregivers to the many components of jazz in an authentic way. Together, they’ll learn about jazz’s core concepts, instruments, and great performers through movement, songs, storytelling, and play. Our award-winning, jazz-focused curriculum coupled with professional support for your staff allow for a unique offering in your community that mirrors the successful program implementation here in NYC.
Licenses are granted based on criteria set by Jazz at Lincoln Center’s WeBop staff and are reviewed on a case by case basis. To learn more about licensing WeBop, please email WeBop@jazz.org.
